Jack (40 pounds)
Birthday Estimate: 04-11-10
Breed type:
Shepherd/Hound Mix
Jack is such an easy going happy guy. He will make a great pet for any low key family. He is great for short walks, cuddling and is a great conversationalist. You will not find a sweeter boy than Jack! He was born with hip dyslplasia and has already had the corrective surgery. We provide a guarantee that if he has any problems in the future, TMHPR will cover the expenses when treated by our doctor.

Mr. Cooper (9 pounds)
Birthday Estimate:
12-28-08
Breed Type: Chihuahua
Mr. Cooper was first dropped at the Richardson Animal Shelter, late one night. He had been severely injured and his worn and emaciated body placed in a cardboard box and sealed with tape. In the morning when the shelter staff discovered him he could not move his legs or lift his head. For two months the shelter staff nursed Mr. Cooper - who they had named Chance. With their kindness, he began to hold his head up and started trying to stand and then walk. In January he became part of Take Me Home and we continued what the shelter staff had started. We also found he was heartworm positive. Mr. Cooper received his name from his foster mom who said she was 'Just Hang'n with Mr. Cooper' during his recuperation. This boy has been neutered and treated for heartworm. He is ready for his new home. He will do best in a quiet home without small children and he prefers to have someone home with him more than not.

Birthday Estimate:
6 months
Maggie was found rummaging through trash on the streets of Dallas. She is beautiful girl with lots of personality and is ready for a loving home. She is house trained, crate trained and leash trained and will make a fantastic family pet.

Bonnie and Clyde were abandoned in a shopping mall parking lot where they waited patiently for three days for someone to take notice and do something to help them. Thanks to a passerby who could not stand the though of them starving or being hit by a car contacted one of our volunteers who with the help of another dedicated volunteer rescued them.
They are now spayed and neutered, are very healthy and living in a loving foster home where they are learning that humans can be compassionate. They are working on basic puppy training including house training, crate training and leash training. Clyde is more outgoing and protective of his sister. We think they would be happiest adopted in to separate homes. Bonnie is sweet and a little shy but warms right up. They are great with other dogs and older kids.
