TMHPR works closely with Feral Friends to be sure our kittens and cats are placed in loving forever homes. You will be greeted by a Feral Friend's counselor during your visit who can answer any questions you have about our cats and kittens. Trudy is a sweet girl who found herself as a stray at a local shelter. She enjoys cuddling on the couch and helping out with the laundry too. She will do fine an apartment type setting as an only cat or companion to another cat as well. She has not been around dogs or kids, but is expected to do fine with either when properly introduced.
Callie-Maine Coon mix
She was rescued from under the water tower in Richardson where she had been living for awhile. She is a very sweet cat who loves to cuddle and enjoys sitting on your lap on a warm blanket. Callie has a special skin condition on her nose that gives her more character than most cats. This awesome girl gets along with other cats and will be fine with older kids and a cat friendly dog. She enjoys sitting on the back of the chair in the office and asking for milk every time you pour your cereal. She is about 5 years old and a favorite.

Max is a very handsome long hair orange tabby who is about 10 years old. His owner moved into a retirement home and could not bring Max along. If you are in the market for good looking and personality to go with those looks, then you are looking for Max. He does well with cat friendly dogs and cats as well as older children.

Chanel is a 2 year old pretty calico (with four white socks!) who enjoys playing and entertaining. Chanel is living in a house with other cats, three dogs and children. She is easy going and very funny. She has enjoyed scaling the Christmas tree this season, as it is her first Christmas. She is very inquisitive and is always thinking about what she can do next. She is only about 16 months old and has lots to offer. Make her yours today!

Jasmine is a 2 year old beautiful and petite medium hair female who is about 4 years old. She found herself as a stray a the local shelter. She is very sweet, inquisitive and just a joy to be around. She will do great with older kids, and other cat friendly pets. She enjoys hanging out with the family and getting belly rubs.

Hannah is a young female who we rescued from a local kill shelter when her time was up. She is so sweet and loves to be brushed and cuddled. She does fine with other cat friendly cats, dogs and kids. She has huge golden eyes and thick black fur.

Kittens Found Inside a Sealed vacuum cleaner box and left to die at White Rock Lake before Thanksgiving Holiday
Yes, sadly it is true. Some evil spirited person put three tiny kittens in a box, sealed it tight and tossed it into a wooded area at White Rock Lake. Dogs that were playing nearby became interested in the box and alerted their owner that something was inside.
One of the kittens has been adopted, leaving two brothers. They are sweet, loving, playful and will make great family pets! They are 11 weeks old and ready for their own home.

Max is a 5 month old handsome yellow tabby. He is very loving and enjoys snuggling. He does great with other cats, cat friendly dogs and older children. He would be happiest if adopted with his sister, Izzy, who is a beautiful golden tabby.
Motor
Motor is a 6 month old handsome black male kitten who was found caught in the motor of a car. The local autoshop called us when they learned a cat was caught up in the motor of a car they were inspecting. The driver was not aware of the cat and did not own the cat. Motor is a sweet and clever boy. He is very playful and enjoys the company of other cats. He will likely do well with a cat friendly dog and enjoys the attention of older children. This is a special boy who is lucky to still be alive and now just needs a place to call his own. Motor needs a new photo, he has grown into a large, sleek and handsome boy.

This beautiful 6 year old declawed female Persian has lots to offer but only to the right home. She needs to be in a home without much going on and would do best as an only pet and with a an ownerr who can will be home and tend to her needs.

Shadow is a 7 month old black and white handsome boy who was born outside to a stray momma kitty. He was rescued along with his three littermates. Sammy and Shadow are the last two of the little family available for adoption. They are living in a busy house hold with a dog, other cats and older children. They will make great family pets.

Sammy is Shadow's brother. He is also very social and playful and ready for a home to call his own. He is great with other cats, older kids and is living with a cat friendly dog. He is young and will quickly adjust to just about any loving home.
Bandit
Bandit is a young adult male who was one of the eight cats we took in when their owner was evicted from his home recently. He is a sweet boy, playful and likes to cuddle. He would be happiest as the only cat in a quiet home. Older children are fine as well as a cat friendly dog.
Biscotti
You may have read about this little star in Read Larry Powell during the months of November and December. On Veteran's Day a man reported finding this kitten stuck in a tree. Her hind leg was fractured and he was very worried about her. He had taken her to the Dallas Animal Shelter where she was put on a 72 hour stray hold and her demise was certain as she was truly a stray and no one would be looking for her. With the help of some very wonderful people including the new Dallas Shelter Manager, Lt. Walton, this kitten was saved-along with another tiny male kitten found outside the shelter who we appropriately name "Little Lt. Walton"-who adopted right before the holidays.
Biscotti's leg has healed and she has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is ready for her new home. She is very social and gets along with everyone. Her foster mom says she is a real talker so she will make a great companion for anyone who has time to listen.
Poppy
Poppy is one of several kittens we had born to a pretty snow shoe stray momma kitty. She is only about 5 months old and ready for her new home. Her golden eyes and smoky fur are striking and unique. She is a beautiful kitten with lots of offer. She is playful and enjoys the company other cats, older kids and the foster family's cat friendly dog. She is living in a foster home with Biscotti and they would make great playmates if you would consider adopting two.

Big Boy
This very large buff kitty was one of our very first rescues! We took him from the Richardson Animal Shelter about three years ago and he was quickly adopted. Unfortunately for Big Boy his new owner grew tired of caring for him when he became ill so she returned him to us. Big Boy is a healthy cat but requires special cat food that is only available by prescription. We will provide two free bags when adopted and the food is not any more expensive then buying a high grade cat food at PetsMart. Please consider giving Big Boy another chance at a happy home. He is a lovely cat and gets along great with younger female cats and cat friendly dogs.
