Merry Christmas to all of our wonderful followers, donors, volunteers, fosters and adopters!
How do we ever begin to share all of the fabulous Christmas photos & videos that we have received from our fosters and adopters? One big blog? Or maybe several as we close out the end of 2016 . . . Here is our best effort. (You will see Aikman found his Forever Home. See above. He has two boys all his own!)
And if you don’t see your favorite four legged dog or cat, please post on our Facebook page, email email@example.com or tag us on Instagram!
We received these festive photos from some of our adopters. You should recognize a few from this year all grown up! And sweet Naomi was adopted in 2015! We love receiving your updates! It so helps us let them go, when we receive updates!
Alumni Leyna (in the lap below) and Macy spend Christmas together.
Macy was adopted by one of our wonderful fosters who takes some of our medical fosters. Her father adopted one of her first fosters, Leyna, who came to TMHPR with a HUGE bladder stone. After surgery, she was adopted and has never been more loved. Merry Christmas, girls!
Darla (fka Lira) enjoyed her Christmas
Darla’s Mom adopted her and then quickly became one of our volunteers. You will find her helping at many of our offsite Adoption Events or at Meet & Greet. This was Darla’s first Christmas. We hope all of the Powerball puppies had a fabulous Christmas! And you can follow Darla and all of her antics on her Instagram darladoesdallas
Not all of our babies found their Forever Homes before Christmas. But, we know 2017 holds some wonderful adoptions in their future. A huge THANK YOU to our fosters who welcomed these dogs & cats into their home for the holiday.
We even had fosters take on additional dogs and cats, so they could spend the day in a home for the holiday. And look at the smiles on their faces!
Libby’s foster family went and grabbed Paddington from the Adoption Center for a few days. He has learned that dogs are allowed to live indoors and he loves lounging on the couch (see collage above).
Paddington’s brother, Baloo, found himself in a temporary foster home for Christmas. Here he is learning how to play from Reagan, one of our Presidential Puppies. He is a gentle boy who gets along with all of the dogs in the home; male, female, big and little. And he LOVES to go for a dip in the pond.
Baloo and Paddington will both need foster homes where they can recover from heartworm treatment. They are wonderful boys who just need a calm home for about 2 months.
Rory is all puppy! Here she is opening one of her presents today. She really got into the gift giving of the season!
Augustine was rescued from the Dowdy Ferry area. Found crying in a pile of leaves on the side of the road. He is now all dressed up and enjoying his foster home where he is such an engaging and fun kitten. He is wishing for his Forever Family in 2017.
Brinkley and all of us at TMHPR wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! Brinkley says he is ready to find that Forever Home that is out there waiting for him. He has learned that living in a loving home, daily walks and lots of naps is what he is looking for in a Forever Family. He is ready to go with a large red bow! Look at those eyes!
Please send us your Holiday photos of your TMHPR dogs & cats!
We would love to share them!
