If you are looking for a way to help, we have lots of ideas!
Adopt A Pet From Take Me Home Pet Rescue    When you adopt a pet from us you are helping make room in our foster program to bring in more homeless pets from local shelters, strays found in the neighborhoods, or from folks who can no longer care for their pet for whatever reason.  Recently we have taken in many pets whose families have been forced to downsize due to the changes in our current economy.
Foster A Pet Foster care is an opportunity to care for an animal that isn't yet ready for adoption. It is an alternative for those who cannot make a long-term commitment, but would still like to help homeless pets in need. Fostering a pet is an extremely rewarding experience. Take Me Home Pet Rescue provides medical care at no cost to the foster parent.  Plus basic needs for your foster care pet including food, bowls, crate, litter are included.  If you are interested, please contact us and we will provide you with more information.
Other ways to Donate

Celebrate!   You can celebrate any person, pet, friendship or occasion including Birthdays, Anniversaries and Graduations while helping us continue to rescue, nurture and adopt pets into loving homes.  With your donation, we will send a personalized card on your behalf to the loved one of your choice in celebration of that special event or holiday.  Please send a check to our address with the following information:

Sponsor a Dog,  Cat or Orphaned Newborns     You can choose to sponsor a pet
currently in our foster program who is in need of expensive medical treatment such
as heart worm treatment, injuries, etc... Often these pets are the first to be euthanized
in the shelters as their are difficult to adopt to the general public. But, with the special
fund, Take Me Home Pet Rescue is able to offer another chance at life to these special
pets.  Orphaned puppies or kittens are especially a challenge as the formulas for these
pets are very expensive- and we need a lot of it depending on the number of puppies or
kittens in the orphaned litter.

"Just Because I Care"   Without funding we just cannot continue to do what we do.  Caring for the many pets we have in our program is very expensive. Every month we worry whether or not we will make ends meet.  Every time we bring in a new pet, the cost is about $150.00 on average-if the pet is healthy. This covers the Health Check with Dr. Neeman (to be sure the pet does not have any medical problems), flea treatment, and vaccinations. The pet will then be scheduled for spay or neuter surgery.  Supplies for the pets while in foster care add up fast too.  So, if you are looking for a reason to help us, this is a good one!

Other Ways To Help:
Have your own Fundraiser:   An example would be a Garage Sale: This is an easy one. Yes, it does take a little elbow grease, but involves lots of friends and you have a good reason to clean out the closets and the garage!  Check out this website formore great ideas: http://humanefundraising.com

Volunteer at a Take Me Home Pet Rescue Fundraiser:  We have several events throughout the year including a Pizza Party in the Spring, Art Show in the Fall, and Holiday Bazaar in the Winter.  We are always looking for people to help organize, coordinate other volunteers, and advertise.

Volunteer at Your Local Shelter:  The homeless dogs and cats in your local shelters are desperate for human contact.  Human contact helps them remain social and friendly which will make them more adoptable.  Contact your local shelter for more information.

Thank you Dr. Aron Neeman and Kindness Small Animal Hospital for your generosity in hosting the Halloween Fundraiser, Saturday, October 25th!

These bottle babies were brought to us on May 31st. They were found in bushes of a church parking lot.

They require
feedings every 5 hours. They would appreciate your sponsorship of KMR kitten formula!
