Take Me Home Pet Rescue ( TMHPR) was founded on the principal that the dogs & cats who are rescued from the streets or shelters will wait for their forever homes in loving foster homes. The foster home is where they learn what it means to be cared for, loved and appreciated.
This is a vital step in the successful journey from an animal who has been discarded and ignored to become a cherished member of a family.
But, TMHPR cannot save these precious animals without foster homes. Our current foster homes are full; and our dog runs sadly remain full at the Adoption Center. We need some very special families to open up their hearts and homes (temporally) to these wonderful dogs who deserve the chance to know the love of a family.
Marianne’s story can be found here. She is a flat coat retriever & border collie mix who was taken into the TMHPR on Christmas night with her 5 puppies. She is now ready to continue her journey to a foster home. She has come so far in her trust of humankind again.
Chief’s story can be found here. He is believed to be a share pei & shepherd mix who was transported to TMHPR after it was found that he had been shot in the face. He has undergone surgery for his wounds and is healing nicely. He is ready for his next step in finding his forever home. A foster home where he can learn to be a part of a pack and wait for his forever home.
Sweet Remi has had his story shared on our blog here. He is a Australian Shepherd who is looking for a special home who can provide him the quiet and calm that he is looking for.
Remi is blind in one eye; therefore, can spook easily by quick movements and loud noises. He is ready for a foster home to call his, until a forever home is found.
Please share the stories of these sweet dogs as they are waiting for a foster home to love them until their forever families are found.
Please visit the TMHPR website to completed the Foster Application. Foster an animal on their way to their happily ever after is an amazing experience. www.takemehomepetrescue.com
